SYNCHRONOUS JOURNALING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To embody an event-driving journaling mechanism which does not depend on the timing of the execution of a process. CONSTITUTION: The special event known as a synchronous event marks the place known as a synchronous point in a journal file 495 of the events. In this journal file 495, the process started first has to be completed before the succeeding process is started. The synchronous point exists between the process and the process where states are exchanged with each other. The synchronous event is introduced into the journal file 495 during a recording stage. The journaling mechanism waists for the occurrence of the synchronous event before the subsequent execution of the process is started after progression to the next action in the journal file 495.
