PURPOSE:To suppress the deterioration of electrical characteristic caused by thermal stress between different kind materials by providing a stress concentration portion in an electrode. CONSTITUTION:The electrode 2 on solid electrolyte 1 is formed into an uneven shape having plural number of recess portions 3. The recess portions 3 become stress concentration portions, and stress, applied to the recess portions 3, acts toward the electrolyte 1, being different kind material, so as to produce cracks in a longitudinal direction. The number of the stress concentration portions is decided so considering that thermal stress, applied between different kind materials according to the shape of the stress concentration portion, is well relaxed, and no deterioration of electrode strength and electrical characteristic is induced. Thereby the thermal stress between the electrode and the solid electrolyte or between the electrode and an inter-connector is relaxed, so that the separation of the electrode is reduced and the deterioration of electrical characteristic can be suppressed. |
