PURPOSE:To shorten the virtual installation length of a lamp. CONSTITUTION:The open end of a bulb 1 is blocked with a flat glass stem 3, with which a lead 7 is attached sealedly, and an electrode 4 is connected with this lead 7 to form a lamp, wherein the lead 7 is bent, embedded at least partially in the glass stem 3, and led out at its side face. This leading out at the side face of the glass stem which is flat eliminates provision of any space for curving the lead on the outside of the lamp end, which allows lessening of the virtual installation length of the lamp. |
