PURPOSE:To prevent toner from overflowing and dropping at the time of shipping and storing and to prevent a toner supply roller from being deformed by providing a sealing member in a toner hopper; a toner supply port is sealed by one end of the member and the other end of the member is fixed on a stirring member and the member is taken up by the stirring member in accordance with the rotation of the stirring member. CONSTITUTION:In a developing vessel 1, developer made of toner and carrier is stored, and a stirring roller 6 and a magnet roller 5 are rotatably disposed. A photoconductive photosensitive body 4 is arranged opposite to the magnet roller 5. The toner supply port 9 is formed under the toner supply roller 3, and one end of the sealing member 8 is held between the toner supply port 9 and the toner supply roller 3. The sealing member 8 is made of a flexible film such as polyethylene terephthalate, and it is spread so as to cover all over the toner supply port 9 therewith. And the other end of the sealing member 8 is melt stuck and fixed on the rotary shaft of the stirring member 7, and then, the member 8 is taken up by the stirring member 7 at the time of setting. |
