PURPOSE:To prevent the pollution and damage of the nonelectrifying surface of a photosensitive body and to always and stably obtain an excellent quality image by holding a separating sheet between the photosensitive body and devices around it, until an image forming device and a process cartridge are newly manufactured and then, used. CONSTITUTION:In the image forming device or the process cartridge for the image forming device provided with the process cartridge, until they are used for the first time, the photosensitive body 1 and the devices around it, can not be in contact by the separating sheet 4. In other words, the separating sheet 4 is wound on the almost entire periphery of the photosensitive body 1, to prevent an electrifying roller 2 and a cleaning blade 5 from directly coming into contact with the photosensitive body 1, and a developing unit 3 from abutting on the the photosensitive body 1, as well. The separating sheet 4 is removed by pulling it from a leader 41 at the beginning of using. Thus, the pollution and scratch of the photosensitive body 1 can be effectively prevented, and excellent quality image can be stably obtained, from the first of using. |
