PURPOSE:To support platinum stably by means of carbon black, and decrease the platinum amount to be used by fixing a specific platinum compound to carbon black, and reducing it to platinum. CONSTITUTION:At least one of platinum compounds, expressed by [Pt2(X)2(NH3)2]Bn or [Pt4(X)4(NH3)4]Bn, [Pt4(Y)8] and [Pt(Z11)4] [Pt(Z2)2(Z31)4]Bn or [Pt(Z12)2] [Pt(Z2)2(Z32)2]Bn, is fixed to carbon black. In formulas, X is an organic compound, in which nitrogen atoms and oxygen atoms are chelate- coordinated to platinum, B is an arbitrary neagtive ion, and n indicates an arbitrary integer. Y is an organic compound including a carboxyl group, Z11 and Z31 are monodantate ligands to the platinum, Z12 and Z32 are the organic compounds being chelate-coordinated to the platinum, and Z2 indicates a halogen atom. The platinum compound fixed to the carbon black is reduced to the platinum. Thereby the platinum is stably supported by the carbon black. |
