PURPOSE:To display a high-definition, flickerless image based upon a CRT image sign without irregularity by using a liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION:This display controller is equipped with frame memories 7 and 8 stored with video data of at least one frame of the CRT image signal, means 11-14 which compare the video data stored in the frame memories with picture element data of video data of the next frame at the same screen position to discriminate whether or not display contents change in picture element units and store address information of a changing picture element in picture element units or scanning line units, and means 12 and 15 which read display picture element data out of the frame memories in the picture element units or scanning line units according to the address information and transfer them to display driving devices 2, 3, and 5 driving the liquid crystal display device 1. |
