PURPOSE:To obtain the silver halide photographic sensitive material greatly improved in stickiness resistance and slidability without adversely affecting physical coating properties, ultrahigh in contrast, rich in sharpness and pressure resistance, not causing pinholes while having surface mattness, and adapted to high sensitivity printing. CONSTITUTION:This silver halide photographic sensitive material is formed by laminating on one side of a support at least one silver halide emulsion layer and an emulsion protective layer and on the other side of the support a hydrophilic colloid backing layer and a protective layer and characterized by containing boron nitride in at least one protective layer. The photographic sensitive material and/or the emulsion is prepared by a neutral method of 5-7pH, and the emulsion silver halide are composed of >=50mol% silver chloride and has an average grain diameter of <=0.5mum, and the crystal face (100) of a cubic system, and the emulsion layer contains polyalkylene oxide.
