PURPOSE:To eliminate a cementation phenomenon and to prevent that BN powder and graphite powder are produced while the BN powder and the graphite powder are being applied to a jig or the jig is being manufactured by a method wherein the jig is formed out of graphite which is coated with glassy carbon which contains BN. CONSTITUTION:A BN powder can be obtained uniformly in a layer coated with glassy carbon when it is added while a coating material is dissolved or it is in a molten state. Consequently, the title jig can be made of graphite coated with the glassy carbon which contains BN. For example, the pyrolyzed substance of an organic polymer is dissolved in a solvent; BN powder is mixed with the solution; slurry is formed; the surface of graphite is coated with the slurry; after that, the slurry is baked. Thereby, no cementation phenomenon is caused. It is possible to obtain a graphite jig in which BN powder and graphite powder are not produced and which is coated with glassy carbon which contains BN. |
