PURPOSE:To provide a heat-resisting high-tension lead wire for DC having vertical flame resistance (VW-1) of the UL standard and satisfying tamperature rating not less than 125 deg.C by forming an insulation coating of a conductor out of a polyolefin resin composition. CONSTITUTION:In a resin mixture A of polyethylene having a melting temperature not less than 125 deg.C of a crystalline component and an ethylene alpha olefin copolymer such as an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, a composition ratio of polyethylene having a melting temperature not less than 125 deg.C is to be 40 to 80wt.%. A plurallayered conductor 1 is covered with the resin compositions 2, 3, in which 1 to 10wt.% of a monomer B of one kind or a mixture of a reactive monomer having a carbon-carbon unsaturated junction component inside a molecule, such as trimethylol propane trimethacrylate and a flame retarder, an inorganic filler are added to the resin mixture A 100wt.% by a melt-extruding method. The layers 2, 3 can be used of the same composition or different kinds. The flame retarder is a brominated diphenly ether derivative or the like. Ionizing radiation is radiated on covered layers in order to obtain the expected heat-resisting high-tension wire for DC. |
