PURPOSE:To provide a monitoring method for a moving body to be performed through transmission and reception of electromagnetic wave signals, with which no cross-talk is generated even though many people use it, which can sense the position of a person, car, etc., possessing a mobile radio apparatus from a base station, and which enables the person possessing the apparatus to issue an emergency signal. CONSTITUTION:A mobile radio apparatus 10 receives signals due to electromagnetic waves of a specific frequency including ID symbols transmitted at certain intervals from a base station 14a, and a position signal sensed by a built-in GPS receiver 11 is transmitted to the base station 14a upon making sure that the ID symbol is in correspondence. The position signal received by the base station 14a is synthesized with the map information, and the on-map position of the radio apparatus 10, motion locus, and the time are displayed on a display 22 and/or in writing. |
