PURPOSE:To use solar energy effectively by installing a power storage facility which is connected to a commercial power system through a rectifier and by installing a solar battery cooling facility under a solar battery panel. CONSTITUTION:A power storage facility (battery) 7 is installed between the load 9 and a solar battery panel 1. As a result, the battery 7 works as a constant voltage device for the solar battery panel l and therefore the battery 7 works as the optimum load unless it is overcharged even if a quantity of solar radiation varies. A11 what should be done for avoiding overcharging of the battery is to charge the battery at all times by a rectifier installed between a commercial power source 12 and the battery for a difference between the output current of the solar battery panel 1 and the current of the load 9. In order to avoid overcharging, the voltage of the battery 7 is measured by a limiter 14 and when the measured value is a specified voltage or below, the battery 7 is charged from the commercial power source 12. Meanwhile, a cooler is installed under the solar battery panel 1 and is allowed to serve as a calorifier, too. By this method, solar energy can be used effectively. |
