The circuit (1) is supplied with a DC voltage (Vb) and is also linked (at 7) to earth, and it includes an output terminal (6) for the signal to be generated, linked to a transistor output stage (4). Means (9) play a part, during generation of the high level, to supply, on the output terminal (6), an output voltage (Vs) which is lower by a predetermined value than the power supply voltage (Vb). Other components (19, 20, 21) play a part during generation of the low level to supply, on the same output terminal (6), an output voltage (Vs) which is higher by a predetermined value than the zero value present on the earth terminal (7). Application: output circuit for a Hall-effect rotation sensor (3), especially for a speed sensor on a motor vehicle. <IMAGE>
