<p>Salts of glycosamine glycanes with cations of formula I <IMAGE> in which: R1, R2, R3 and R4 are separately hydrogen, straight or branched C1-C8 alkyl, C4-C7 cycloalkyl, C6-C10 aryl-(C1- C8) alkyl, or R1 and R2, and R3 and R4 respectively, taken together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bound, form a 5- or 6- membered heterocyclic ring which may or may not contain another heteroatom, R5, R6, R7 and R8 are separately hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl, n and m, which are the same or different, are whole numbers between 1 and 4, provided that R5, R6, R7 and R8 cannot represent hydrogen at the same time. The salts show the typical pharmacological properties of glycosamine glycanes even after enteral or endonasal administration.</p> |
