<p>A tissue glue is described comprising a component A which comprises a cryoprecipitate of whole blood and a component B comprising a proteolytic enzyme being capable of cleaving specifically fibrinogen present in component A, and causing the formation of a fibrine polymer, in a preferred embodiment component A of the tissue glue comprises 3,000 to 5,000 KIU/ml of aprotinin. In another preferred embodiment component B of the tissue glue is a protease derived from the venom of the South American pit viper. This protease is known under the name batroxobin.</p> |
