Cleaning fluids contain a polyalkylene glycol monoalkyl ether (I), an alkoxylated fatty acid partial glyceride (II) and opt. a liq. nonionic surfactant (III). Pref. (I) is of formula R1(OCHMeCH2)x(OCH2CH2)yOH, where R1 = 1-6C alkyl (esp. Bu), x = 2-33 (esp. 9-20) and y = 3-45 (esp. 10-30). (II) is pref. of formula R2COOCH2CH(OH)CH2(OCH2CH2)nOH, where R2 = 5-17C alkyl (esp. heptyl or nonyl) and n = 2-10 (esp. 6). (III) is pref. a polyoxyethylene-sorbitan fatty acid ester (IIIa) esp. monooleate, and/or an alkoxylated fatty alcohol of formula R4(OCHR5CH2)mOH (IIIb) where R4 = 6-20C alkyl (esp. stearyl), R5 = H and/or Me, and m = 4-50 (esp. 15).
