PURPOSE:A stick-shaped powder cosmetic that is prepared by combining a mixture of talc and kaolin in a specific proportion as a powder base with additional magnesium stearate, thus showing good spread on skins and comfortable feel on use and having good moldability and form retention. CONSTITUTION:A stick-shaped powder cosmetic is composed of talc, kaolin and magnesium stearate wherein the weight ratio of talc and kaoling is 4/6-6/4, the total amount of talc and kaoling is 50-90, preferably 60-80wt% and the magnesium stearate is more than 4%, preferably 6-12% on the basis of the total weight of the cosmetic. The composition is compressed into sticks, which are used as cosmetic. The preferably prssure on the compression is 50-200kg/cm<2>. The addition of an anhidrotic permits the molded product to be used as an anhidrotic stick. USE:Deodorant powder, baby powder, shaving powder, eye-shadow powder and so on. |
