<p>VHS recorder cassettes have a hinged flap which, in a first position, closes the cassette housing and, in a second position, allows the magnetic tape to pass. The aim of the invention is to provide a new type of design which is simple and compact and, in particular, enables small C-type cassettes to be adapted for use with an ordinary home-video recorder. The clutch spindles (4, 5) are surrounded by hinged, crescent-shaped tape-protection flaps (6, 7), the ends of which abut in a first position (Fig. 1) and are spaced apart in a second position (Fig. 2). The cassette is particularly suitable for digital video recorders with facilities for adapting them for camera and home-video operation.</p> |
