The method for taking the belt off the conveyor, whereas the belt lays on its runners and moves along the conveyor longitudinal axis, consisting in that in selected spot (A-A) of the conveyor's route, the belt is folded with its edges facing each other so that its middle part forms a loop (a), while the edges (b, c) folded in parallel meet each other and thus the direction of the belt movement is altered, and then the belt is removed askew to the outside of the conveyor structure segments below the upper beams of those segments.4. The method for putting the belt on the conveyor, whereas the belt is unrolled from a drum standing beside the conveyor and askew to that conveyor, consisting in that the belt is inserted below the upper beams of the conveyor close to the spot (A-A) where the unrolled belt axis crosses with the conveyor axis, the belt is folded with its edges facing each other so that its middle part forms a loop (a), while the edges (b, c) folded in parallel meet each other, and then at the same place, the direction of the belt movement is changed and then the belt is placed on the conveyor.<IMAGE>
