<p>The invention relates to a compressible fitting for producing a non-detachable sealed connection of pipes, which has at least one end which is of hook-shaped cross-section, is constructed in the manner of a bead, holds a round sealing ring and can be compressed with the pipe, and a region which connects thereto, is of cylindrical construction, extends in the longitudinal direction, is provided at the end with a bead-shaped depression (acting as a stop for the smooth-ended pipe which can be pushed in) and connects to the region characterising the type of fitting.
