1. A method of welding slotted sieves composed of forming slot rods welded, at equal distances, corresponding to the sieve slots, with transverse rods on a welder with one or more number of electrode pairs, which has an element with grooves for placing in them one or a few slot-forming rods welded simultaneously in one cycle, and composed of a device for shifting an already welded segment of a sieve after each welding cycle characterised in that the slot-forming rods (4) are placed in grooves (3) of the former (1) supported on springs, and further, they, under the pressure of electrodes (9), move together with the former (1) until they contact the transverse rods (5) placed on the counter electrodes (6) and passing through the cuts in the former (1), until the rods are welded with one another, and further the electrodes (9) relocate to their original positions and the former (1) placed on springs is still moving until it reaches the position which makes it possible to move the already welded segment of a sieve by the multiple value of the scale, according to the number of the slot-forming rods (4), which are welded simultaneously, and when the movement is completed, the former (1) returns to its original position, the next set of slot-forming rods (4) is placed in its grooves and the cycles are repeated until the slot-forming rods (4) are welded along the whole length of the sieve.2. The method according to Claim No. 1 characterised in that the slot of a sieve between the last slot-forming rod welded in the previous cycle and the first slot-forming rod welded in a given cycle is made by leaning the last slot-forming rod welded in the previous cycle against the butting face (10) of the former (1).<IMAGE>
