<p>To obtain the automatic sewing of two stockings to form a pair of tights, involving the manual loading of the stockings onto two corresponding twin horizontal and superposed flat forms, bringing the forms together with the stockings slipped on them and cutting a longitudinal portion, spreading the forms 1 apart, with the stockings cut, and sewing the edges T1, T2, joining the forms together and unloading the sewn tights, the following operations are carried out: positioning the elastic edge of the two stockings in the same predetermined position by grasping the elastic edge of the stocking which is located at a greater distance from the predetermined position and by causing it to slide towards this position, then by grasping the elastic edge of the other stocking and by causing the two elastic edges thus aligned vertically to slide simultaneously into the predetermined position; positioning the upper part of the two stockings in the same predetermined position by accumulating it until a reference line of the stockings reaches a predetermined position, then by slipping them off over an identical predetermined length; spreading the forms apart at 180 DEG , with the stockings partially cut longitudinally, and sewing the edges on two straight portions T1, T2, one in the extension of the other: the sewing of one portion T1 being simultaneous with that of the other portion T2. <IMAGE></p> |
