<p>Method to automatically pull out a faulty weft from the shed in air looms. In case of a faulty weft, the cutting of the yarn (2) is prevented and a double weft is simultaneously fed into the shed (3). The loop (7) thus formed is conveyed to the outlet of the shed (3) by an air stream, inside a pneumomechanical device (10) positioned at loom outlet. Said device (10) comprises an inner duct (13) into which blows the air stream conveying the faulty weft yarn, yarn gripping and intermittent drawing members (15) positioned downstream of and across said duct (13), and devices (19, 21) to protect from dirt the yarn detection optical sensor (18). <IMAGE></p> |
