A shampoo composition comprises: (a) a surfactant which is chosen from anionic, nonionic or amphoteric surfactants or mixtures thereof; (b) an aqueous emulsion of a solution of highly viscous silicone in volatile solvent; and (c) a cationic conditioning polymer which is a cationic derivative of guar gum; wherein the average particle size of the highly viscous silicone in the composition is less than 2 mu m in diameter. |
