Polyamine derivs. of formula ((B)nA)m (I) are claimed as agents useful in cosmetics and dermatology: A = a gp. of formula: -NH-(CH2)p-NR3-X-NR3-(CH2)p-NH- (II). -NH3-(CH2)s-(n-(CH2)z)t-NR3- (III). -NR4-(CH2)p-NR5- (IV). p = 2-6; X = a diacycl gp. derived from carbonic acid (sic) or a 2-10C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid; R3 = H, 1-12C alkyl, or 1-R6-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl (V); R6 = H, Me or 2-4C hydroxyalkyl; s and z = 2 or 3; t = 1 or 2; R4 and R5 = H, 1-12C alkyl, (V) or (CH2)sNHQ (VI); Q = 4,6-di(NRR1)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl; R and R1 = H, 1-12C alkyl, 5-8C cycloalkyl or (V); B = a divalent aliphatic, alicyclic or alkylaromatic gp. or 4-R2-6-(NR1R2)-1,3,5-traizin-2-yl (VII); R2 is not generally defined (see below); m = 1-20; n = 1-4; provided that: (a) B = (VII) and R2 = NRR1 when m = 1 and n = 2-4; (b) A = (IV) and R2 = a direct bond, OH, halogen, or NRR1 when m = 2-20 and n = 1; and (c) at least one gp. (V) is present in the A or B gps. |
