A hazard warning device 10 has a base 11 for securement, e.g. by glue or bolts 25, on the surface of a road or the like and a post portion 12. The base 11 has a central aperture 13 so that it can be lowered over the portion 12 to bring a shoulder 17 on the base 11 into contact with a peripheral rib 21 on the portion 12 to resist upward movement of the portion 12 when the base is secured on the road. The portion 12 could be tapered for stacking and the rib and shoulder need not have closed peripheries. A light-reflective sleeve 27 can be provided on the part 12. |
