<p>PURPOSE:To permit a coupling to smoothly follow the revolution and the extension/contraction and the vertical shift in the operation and pressurized states by inserting a rod whose one edge is installed on a rotary coupling on a fixation side into a bearing for slide which is installed on the rotary coupling on the shift side. CONSTITUTION:Rotary couplings 5 and 6 having bearings 10a and 10b and a gland packing 12 are arranged between a shaft 9 connected with a pipe and a casing 11. The part between the rotary couplings 5 and 6 is connected through a U-shaped flexible tube 7, and one rotary coupling 5 is set on a fixed side, and the other rotary coupling 6 is set on a shift side. Further, a bearing 14 for slide having a rotary structure is installed on the body outsides of the rotary couplings 5 and 6, and the top edge of a rod 13 inserted into the bearing 14 is fixed on the rotary coupling 5 on the fixation side. Accordingly, the coupling can smoothly follow the revolution and the extension/contraction and the vertical shift in the operation and pressurized states, without demounting the connected pipe.</p> |
