PURPOSE:To backwash a filter of a particulate trap for a diesel engine, to reduce trouble at the time when an electric heater which is an ignition means to incinerate and treat particulates transferred to a particulate reception part by way of igniting them is burnt out and to simplify its maintenance. CONSTITUTION:It is devised to continue operation even only with one of electric heaters 121a and 121b E way of multiplying an electric heater 121 and to carry out replacement of the electric heater 121a or 121b after moving the electric heater 121 to a service spot.
