PURPOSE:To obtain a container capable of preserving and sealing food without impairing its flavor by sealing with a gas-barrier lid the container containing a base material layer accounting for a specific percentage of its total wall thickness and having a sealant layer and its adjoining base material layer bonded together by the laminate strength of a specific value. CONSTITUTION:The wall of a container 1 is constituted of a sealant layer A, a base material layer C, a gas-barrier layer B and a base material layer C formed in that order. The sealant layer A contains any one of polycarbonate, polybutyleneterephthalate and polyethyleneterephthalate. The gas-barrier layer B contains aluminum or steel foil and polypropylene is used in the base material layer C. A sealed container is formed by heat sealing together a flange 2 of the container body 1 having very small recess parts 4 made up on its upper surface in a number of 50-500 and a sealant layer 5 of a lid 3. The total wall thickness of the container consists of 30-70% of the base material layer C and the sealant layer A and the base material layer C are bonded together by a laminate strength of 300-2000g/25mm. |
