<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of the bed unit, to make it compact and light in weight and to reduce cost by forming a bed member as one layer, forming one edge of the bed member as a free edge not to be fixed, and providing a mechanism to change the space of the bed part and the height, length and angle of the bed part while being linked. CONSTITUTION:A bed unit 1 forms the bed part by spreading a bar-shaped body 3 over one part of a frame, the bar-shaped body 3 is mutually linked to the adjacent bar-shaped body 3, and terminating parts 2 are provided at both front and rear edges. Then, the linked bar-shaped bodies 3 are spread around over upper and lower steps on rails 32a and 32b formed at the upper and lower steps on both right and left sides of the bed unit 1. The bed unit 1 can make the space having arbitrary width between the terminating parts 2, and the terminating parts 2 can be respectively moved forward and backward. Thus, a mattress or the like used by a patient can be automatically exchanged with new one without moving the patient on the bed part and requiring any automatic effort.</p> |
