PURPOSE:To provide an electric power steering control device where a smooth switch-on operation of an electromagnetic clutch is obtained when the system is changed from a high speed operation to a low speed operation. CONSTITUTION:A steering speed judging means 95 in order to make a judgement that the steering speed (A) of a steering wheel is below the specified value on the basis of the steering parameters is provided. An electromagnetic clutch 14 and a motor 13 are turned on when a clutch control means 92A and a current calculating and driving means 91A make a judgement that the steering speed is below the specified value in a case where the vehicle speed (V) above the specified value is changed to one below the specified value.
