PURPOSE:To form the flank of a broach, provided with an eccentric flank, by simple and highly efficient grinding. CONSTITUTION:The opening edge of a rotating cup-shape grinding wheel 3 is used as the grinding face, and the grinding wheel 3 and a broach 7 are brought into contact with each other in such a way that the rotation axis 4 of the grinding wheel 3 is placed in the inclined state in relation to the axis of the broach 7. Interference grinding is then performed while rotating both of them. |
