<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a storage chamber having excellent maintainability and suitable for the storage of vegetables and fruits such as green vegetables by placing a shelf for holding the storing object in a heat-insulated box and placing a member for adsorbing degradation-accelerating gas near the shelf. CONSTITUTION:A shelf 17 for holding a storing object is placed in a heat- insulated box 11 and a gas-adsorbing member 19 is placed near the shelf 17 in such a manner as to be removable from the box through the opening of the heat-insulated box. The gas-adsorption member 19 has porous structure and capable of adsorbing a gas having an action to promote the degradation of the storing object. Since the gas-adsorbing member 19 is placed near the shelf 17 in a state removable from the box through the opening of the heat- insulated box 11, it is taken out of the box by opening a door 15 in maintenance and regenerated or exchanged to a new one.</p> |
