PURPOSE:To extract shape information from an image reconstituting the region of interest(ROT) based on data transmitted through the ROT. CONSTITUTION:Concerning a method for imaging the ROI of a reagent in X-ray CT, a partial area including the ROI is reconstituted from the transmitted data of the reagent, and only the shape information is extracted from the reconstituted image. This shape information sets a threshold function calculated from resolution to the information of the reconstituted image corresponding to linear absorption coefficient distribution (density), binarizes or ternaizes the above-mentioned reconstituted image etc., based on this threshold function and extracts the image. Otherwise, the information of the reconstituted image corresponding to the linear absorption coefficient distribution (density) is differentiated and extracted, and only the part of stepwise changing the linear absorption coefficient distribution (density) is imaged and extracted. |
