PURPOSE:If crystallized glass is used as restoration, the color tone of an abutment tooth is reflected by its transparency and an aesthetic property is inferior and, therefore, there is a need for concealing the color of the abutment tooth in the case a metallic material, such as silver alloy, is used for the abutment tooth at the time of restoring the dental crown. CONSTITUTION:The dental crown restoration 4 consisting of the crystallized glass 2 is constituted by joining an opaque layer of a ceramic or resin type to the inside surface of the restoration 4. More particularly, the crystallized glass 2 is the crystallized glass of a calcium phosphate system and the opaque layer is the ceramic type and is preferably formed by kneading a powder mixture composed of 30 to 90 pts.wt. phosphate glass powder, 10 to 70 pts.wt. refractory inorg. powder having a hiding property, <=70 pts.wt. inorg. coloring pigment powder, and <=10 pts.wt. oxidizing material with a kneading liquid, then applying and calcining the mixture. |
