<p>Welding equipment circuitry includes a mains voltage supplied reactifier (1) and an intermediate capactive circuit (2) for supplying a current transformer (12) having a primary side, which is cycled by semiconductor switches (3a,b), and a secondary side which is connected to the welding process (13a,b) by a network including a rectifier diode (5), a smoothing choke (7) and a free-wheeling diode (6), the intermediate circuit voltage being stabilised by a voltage regulator (10,11). The target value emitter (14) of the regulator (10,11) has a shaping circuit so that the current waveform can assume a sinusoidal shape at the input of the rectifier (1). ADVANTAGE - The circuitry allows problem-free use of the welding equipment even with low power mains, avoids current peaks and is suitable for d-i-y use.</p> |
