PURPOSE:To eliminate mutual rubbing between a wire during pull-out operation and an adjacent wire in the wound state even in the transient process of feed- guide so as to positively prevent damage and a burnout accident by setting the feed speed of a pair of guide rollers according to the displacement degree of the wire. CONSTITUTION:In the process of delivering a wire 2 pulled out of a reel 3 by passing the wire 2 between a pair of guide rollers 41, 42 rotatable in the spaced state, the feed direction of the guide rollers 41, 42 is determined from the rotation of either guide roller, and simultaneously, the displacement degree of the wire 2 is detected from the rotating speed of the guide rollers 41, 42 during rotation so as to determine the feed speed of the guide rollers 41, 42 according to the displacement degree. With this control, the wire 2 during pull- out operation is corrected rapidly into the direction orthogonal to the axis of the reel 3 regardless of the change of wire pull-out speed, so that the position of the wire in the guide direction is corrected rapidly, and the wire during pull-out operation and an adjacent wire in the wound state are prevented from frictional rubbing against each other. |
