The invention solves the problem of clogging in a device for transporting a pasty mass, preferably sausagemeat, which is under feed pressure, through a conduit (6) which guides the mass and the interior of which is connected via an annular groove (19) and via an annular gap to an outer supply device for a lubricant to be pressed at high pressure between the inner wall of the conduit and the surface of the pasty mass, in that a sleeve-shaped sliding piston (17), subjected on its end face to the lubricant in an annular groove, is so arranged axially displaceably in an inner annular recess of the conduit counter to the force of a prestressed spring (18) that, by means of an annular end shoulder (20) projecting axially beyond the annular end groove (19), said piston closes the annular gap under a low lubricant pressure and opens it under a high lubricant pressure, so that no sausagemeat can penetrate into the annular gap in the event of pressure fluctuations in the lubricant. …<IMAGE>… |
