PURPOSE:To sufficiently bear both axial force and torque while insuring maintenance facility by forming a key-like projection on one shaft end part, and fitting it into the approach groove formed on the other shaft end part in the condition of no clearance. CONSTITUTION:At connection of sheath shafts in a multi-disc clutch mechanism, at first a ring 29 is crownedly mounted on a piston part side member 7A, and the stopper 29A is put in the refuge groove 27B and perfectly advanced and retreated. Next, the key-like projection 27 of the piston part side member 7A is put in the approach groove 28 of a clutch part side member 7B, thereat the member 7A and the member 7B are relatively rotated mutually so as to fit the expanded part 27A of the key-like projection into the engagement part 28A of the approach groove 28. Hereby, play is generated on the back side of the expanded part 27A to the approach groove 28 between. The ring 29 is moved on the member 7B side by the play, and the stopper 29A is embedded in the play. A snap ring 30 is fitted in a groove 27C so as to prevent refuge of the stopper 29A. Hereby both torque and axial force can be transmitted between the members 7A and 7B. |
