PURPOSE:To stick a decorating sheet fast onto the inwall of a cavity without generating creases, etc., by forming a recessed surface corresponding to a decorating surface to the female mold of a mold moding an in-mold decorating, one direction of which is formed in a straight line, extending over overall length in the travelling direction of the decorating sheet and closing both ends of the female mold by a male mold. CONSTITUTION:A molded form has a decorating surface, one direction (a first direction) of which is formed in a straight line and a second direction of which crossing at a right angle with the first direction is formed in the straight line or a curve. The travelling direction of a continuous decorating sheet S and said first direction of a mold are aligned in a female mold 1 used, and a recessed surface 12 corresponding to the decorating surface is formed extending over overall length in the travelling direction of the sheet S. Projecting sections 20 blocking the upper and lower sections of the recessed surface 12 are shaped to a male mold 2, a core 22 is formed between both projecting sections 20, and a cavity C is formed between the core 22 and the recessed surface 12. It is favorable that a clamping member 8 pushing the sheet S against the recessed surface 12 is mounted. Accordingly, the sheet S is deformed only in the second direction, and no crease and breaking is generated. The first direction of the mold can also be crossed at a right angle with the travelling direction of the sheet S. |
