PURPOSE:To obtain a wide frequency range by connecting the diode between the balanced terminals each of the 3-filament coplanar microwave balun and then not only connecting the other unbalanced terminals to the external conductor line at both ends but delivering the balanced terminals. CONSTITUTION:The RF signal supplied through the input termianl 1 is converted into the balanced line from the unbalanced line by the lambda/4-length 3-filament coplanar line. And the signal of the same amplitude and the adverse phase is applied to the diode, and at the same time the same signal is applied to the diode also from the LO side. The IF signal thus produced is extracted out of the output terminal. |
