PURPOSE:To provide a crosslinkable and foamable polyolefin resin composition which can be uniformly crosslinked efficiently by irradiation with an ionizing radiation and is suited for producing a crosslinked polyolefin resin foam which is excellent in heat resistance, toughness, and formability and has a uniform appearance. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprises (a) 40-100 pts.wt. polypropylene resin having a melt index of 0.5-12, (b) 0-60 pts.wt. polyethylene resin having a melt index of 2-50, (c) 0.5-10.0 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. sum of resins (a) and (b), crosslinking aid comprising 35-90wt.% divinylbenzene, 3-58wt.% ethylvinylbenzene, and 0-7wt.% saturated aromatic hydrocarbon, and (d) 1-50 pts.wt. thermally decomposable foaming agent. |
