METHOD OF INPUTTING ENGLISH CHARACTER USING NUMERAL KEY

The method inputs English characters using 10 numeric keys. The method comprises the steps: (A) checking that an input key is '*'; (B) sending error signal for non-numeric key input when '*' key is not input in the step (A); (C) checking a number of the same key input and displaying a character according to the number of the same key inputs which is determined by a character table; (D) counting the number of the same key inputs and storing a character corresponding to the number on a temperary buffer; (E) registering the character stored in the temporary buffer when input key is '*' in the step (A) and clearing the temporary buffer; and (F) sending error signal when no character is sored on the temperary buffer in the step (E).
