PURPOSE:To suppress the irregular excitation of a power converting transformer with a simple circuit configuration by controlling the pulse width of one of a pair of semiconductor switching elements with an AVR signal and following up the other thereto. CONSTITUTION:A transistor Tr2 is conducted by an OFF signal theta1 which is produced from a pulse width controller PW, and a voltage which is proportional to the collector current at the time point when the base drive signals of a master-side transistors Q1, Q'1 are removed is applied to one terminal of a comparator CM. Then, transistors Q1, Q'2 of slave side are turned ON, the collector current IC2 of a current transformer CT2 is detected, and the detected voltage is applied to the other terminal of the comparator CM. The comparator CM applies an OFF signal theta2 to a drive circuit DV2 on the basis of the compared result, with the result that the base drive signal is removed from the bases of the transistors Q2, Q'2, thereby suppressing irregular excitation. |
