PURPOSE:To repeat previous items in sequence corresponding to the depression of a specific key when a data processor hierarchically processes a menu for selecting functions. CONSTITUTION:A RAM 3 is provided with a menu information storage area 3a wherein menu information for selecting functions is hierarchically stored and a menu history information storage area 3b wherein areas selected in the menu are stored corresponding to hierarchys An item stored in the storage area 3b is read out of a higher layer in order in response to the depression of a specific key of a keyboard 4 for instructing the reproduction of a menu corresponding to the item stored in the storage area 3b and the menu corresponding to the read item is read out of the storage area 3a and displayed on a display means 6; and the previous items can be repeated in sequence and even if a higher hierarchy route is the same and the item of a lower hierarchy is different, the repeating function can be used. |
