PURPOSE:To provide an optical switch which identifies the route of data at the output side of the switch with use of the characteristics of the light and also has a multiaddress function. CONSTITUTION:The n pieces of nodes N contiguous to each other are connected together by an optical fiber, and the time is set through a time base TB for each node N so that the data transfer light emitting elements RD of these nodes N have the different wavelengths. Furthermore each node N has a BPF that transmits all wavelengths of other nodes N and a material that can change the refractive index is provided between two sheets of half mirrors. Thus a means which can change the incident angle of the incident light and then changes the route of data is provided at the precedent stage of an optical switch. |
