PURPOSE:To provide a structure of a spiral battery with which dispersion of the battery capacity is small and production of the battery is facilitated. CONSTITUTION:In a battery structure wherein electrodes comprising the active materials of positive and negative electrodes affixed to respective metallic foil current collectors are disposed opposite to each other via a separator and wound together, the separator is wound at the outermost periphery into more than two layers and has its terminal end fixed. Dispersion of the battery capacity is very small and insertion resistance between the inner wall of a battery can and a roll can be held in an appropriate state and as a result the battery of spiral structure which can reading be produced can be obtained. |
