PURPOSE:To obtain the electronic stringed instrument which can generate musical sounds of different timbre with different playing styles through the performance of one player. CONSTITUTION:The vibration of plural strings 11 extended on a guitar main body 7 is detected by a pickup and a musical sound of 1st timbre is generated. The depression state of the strings 11 is detected through string depression switches 14-1 to 14-6 provided corresponding to the respective strings of respective frets. A musical sound with a pitch corresponding to the detected depression state is automatically generated with 2nd timbre according to a sound generation pattern corresponding to a playing style selected with playing style selection switches C1-C4. |
