<p>PURPOSE:To obtain excellent image characteristic such as print density, fogging, etc., for a long time and to avoid bad smell of volatilized matter of the charge controlling agent during flush fixing by incorporating a binder resin, coloring agent and metal salt of specified benzilic acid deriv. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains a binder resin, coloring agent and metal salt of specified benzilic acid deriv. as the charge controlling agent expressed by formula I. The developer containing this dry toner and a carrier is brought into contact with an electrostatic latent image formed on a photosensitive material to develop the image. The image is then transferred to a supporting body and fixed by flushing. The binder resin is, for example, styrene-acrylic resin, OH group-contg. styrene-acryl resin, polyester resin, epoxy resin, etc., are preferable. As for the coloring agent, carbon black, etc., is preferable.</p> |
