PURPOSE:To reduce the cost by making the carrying direction of a sheet after fixing variable without providing an independent switch back mechanism from a fixing device. CONSTITUTION:The fixing device 25 is provided to fix a transfer image on a sheet 17 while feeding forward the sheet 17 after the image is transferred and feeding in reverse that sheet 17 which is switched back. A detection sensor 27 detecting an end edge of the sheet 17 passed through the fixing device 25 and a switch back roll 28 where the sheet 17 which was being fed forward is reversed while the end edge is crimped are provided in this order after the fixing device 25. On the other hand, a changeover member 33 guiding the sheet 17 after image transferring to the fixing device 25 and guiding the sheet 17 which was fed in reverse by the fixing device 25 after being switched back by the switch back roll 28 in the direction of paper ejection or paper feeding again, before that fixing device 25. |
